New vacancy! Part-Time KS2 Teacher – Northampton
This is a Primary School job.
We are excited to be supporting a charming village primary school that is looking for a part-time Upper KS2 Teacher starting in January 2026. This small school has mixed-age classes, and the successful candidate will lead a mixed Year 5/6 class. You will plan lessons for your one teaching day each week, collaborating closely with the parallel class teacher. There will be a focus on SATs preparation, with emphasis on Maths fluency, Reading comprehension, SPaG, and topic work. The class consists of 24 pupils and is supported by a teaching assistant. The ideal candidate will be available one day per week for two terms, beginning in January – every Monday

The ideal candidate
We’re looking for a confident and experienced upper KS2 teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons and support pupils through SATs preparation. You’ll need strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a proactive approach to planning and assessment.
