Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking for a rewarding part-time role in education? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Chelmsford for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide dedicated medical support to a pupil with epilepsy.
Position Details:
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Hours: 1.5 hours per day (11:45 AM – 1:15 PM)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Contract: Fixed-term for 1 year
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with epilepsy during the lunchtime period
- Be vigilant and responsive to any medical needs that may arise
- Administer medication if necessary (full training provided)
- Promote a safe, calm, and supportive environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or in a care/support role is desirable
- A calm and proactive approach to supporting medical needs
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to the well-being of children
- Willingness to undertake training in epilepsy awareness and medication administration
