Part-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Ingatestone
Immediate Start | Mon–Fri | AM Hours Only | MDA Required (Min. 1 Day PW)
Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding part-time role in a welcoming primary school environment?
Our client, a friendly and supportive primary school located in Ingatestone, is currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for an immediate start. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 12:00pm, with the addition of covering Midday Assistant (MDA) duties at least one day per week.
Key Requirements:
- Must hold NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience supporting pupils in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, reliable, and adaptable
Role Overview:
- Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment
- Support children with their learning and emotional development
- Carry out lunchtime supervision as an MDA (minimum one day per week)
