Position: Part-Time Year 6 Teacher
Location: Chelmsford
Start Date: September 2025
Schedule: Four mornings per week (Monday to Thursday) plus half a day for PPA on Monday afternoons.
This fantastic opportunity has been created to support reduced class sizes in Year 6 for reading, writing, and maths, ensuring pupils receive targeted and high-quality teaching. The appointed teacher will work full days on Mondays to facilitate joint PPA planning alongside the Year 5/6 teaching team.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2
A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, particularly in core subjects
A commitment to delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and support pupil progress
Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
