Pay: £130- £190 per day
4myschools are currently seeking an experienced PE Teacher to work in a local school in Stradbroke Norfolk. The role as a PE Teacher will be full time/long term with the potential to go permanent.

PE Teacher duties and responsibilities
PE Teachers are responsible for advancing their students’ physical ability and knowledge of sports. They are responsible for the welfare of their students and for ensuring that students can gain the qualifications they need to advance their education or their desired career paths after school. Their key duties and responsibilities include:
Supervising practical PE lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classes
Ensuring that children compete to their ability level and aren’t exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports
Motivating school children to take up new sports or athletic pursuits
Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
Attending parents’ evenings and providing parents with comprehensive reports on their child’s progress
Training and coaching school sports teams to compete and succeed in nation-wide events
Transporting individual competitors, school teams and other teachers to and from school sporting events
Ensuring that students pass their practical and theoretical PE exams
PE Teacher skills and qualifications
A successful PE Teachers will have various prerequisite skills and teaching qualifications and a passion for sports. They have expert knowledge of a wide variety of sports, sporting tactics and physical training programmes. PE Teachers also need to enjoy working with students and have excellent organisation, communication and teaching skills. Their main skills and qualifications include:
- Up-to-date knowledge of the UK PE curriculum
- Knowledge of PE examination processes and requirements for GCSE and A-level
- Knowledge of physical exercises, stretching, nutrition and sports recovery
- Knowledge of different rules and regulations for sports, including athletics and team sports
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
- Basic knowledge of first aid and recognised first-aid certificate
- A full UK driving license
