Key Responsibilities for a Primary Headteacher:
- Lead and manage the strategic direction of the school, ensuring it continues to provide an outstanding education for all students
- Provide inspirational and supportive leadership to the staff, fostering a positive and collaborative school culture
- Oversee the development and implementation of the school curriculum to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
- Work closely with governors, parents, and the wider community to ensure the success and growth of the school
- Ensure that all students are supported in reaching their full potential, with a particular focus on inclusivity and wellbeing
- Manage resources effectively and efficiently, including the school budget, to ensure the school’s financial stability
- Monitor and evaluate the school’s progress, driving continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback
Requirements:
- A qualified and experienced leader with a proven track record of success in school leadership
- A deep understanding of primary education and the ability to inspire both staff and students
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
