Immediate opportunity! Primary Teacher – Wellingborough

I am currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Wellingborough area who are seeking a committed Primary School Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis. This is a five‑day‑a‑week, long‑term cover role with the potential to become temporary to permanent for the right teacher who feels aligned with the school’s values and ethos. The year group has not yet been confirmed, offering a fantastic opportunity for teachers to express a preference, which the school is happy to consider. The successful teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assessing and tracking pupil progress, and working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure every child is supported to reach their potential. This school prides itself on being nurturing, well‑organised and genuinely supportive of staff, making it an excellent setting for both experienced teachers and those at the early stages of their career.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be committed  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS and be available to work full time, five days per week, on a long‑term basis, with the flexibility and commitment to potentially move into a permanent position should the school prove to be the right fit. ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, as the school offers a supportive environment with guidance and mentoring available, while more experienced teachers will appreciate the collaborative culture and positive leadership. You will be confident in delivering high‑quality teaching, adaptable to an unconfirmed year group, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the classroom. Access to transport is beneficial due to the school’s location, and a proactive, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning is essential.
