Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The school is seeking an EYFS teacher who has a strong understanding of early childhood development and a thoughtful, child‑centred approach to teaching. The successful candidate will be confident creating engaging learning opportunities that respond to individual needs and interests. They will be reflective in their practice and comfortable working closely with support staff and families. A calm, organised manner and clear communication will help provide a secure foundation for pupils at the start of their school journey.

Requirements for this role

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
The role involves full responsibility for planning, assessment and observations within the EYFS framework. 
The teacher should be confident supporting pupils with a range of starting points and learning needs. 
Effective partnership working with teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team is essential.
