This is a lovely small school just outside of Chelmsford. It is a two-form infants school with an attached Nursery. It’s a semi open plan, well resourced school with their own school garden. They are looking for a reception teacher to cover a maternity from the 8th of December until the end of the academic year. Ideally this would be one full-time teacher, although the school are open to job shares.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience within Early Years and be happy to continue the assessments for the children. The EYFS Lead currently plans the majority of lessons, with the class teacher preparing resources. Ideally, the school would like to continue with this routine. They use Insight for reports, and the data will have been inputted and just be needing personal comments for each child. There will be one parents evening in Spring, and a Celebration Evening in the summer..
