Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies teacher looking for a rewarding new opportunity? We are seeking a motivated and skilled RS Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in St Albans. This position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available, and will initially run for at least one term, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities for a Religious Studies Teacher
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore diverse perspectives.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support the development of the RS curriculum and resources.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities as appropriate.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for Religious Studies and a commitment to inspiring students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (desired but not essential).
- Flexibility to work either full or part-time.
