About the Role A high-performing and well-established secondary school in the Brentwood area is seeking a Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position, suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers, with the opportunity to teach Science across KS3 and KS4, and potentially post-16 for the right candidate. You’ll be joining a successful and well-resourced Science department within a school that places strong emphasis on staff development, collaboration and student achievement. The school offers clear routines, strong leadership support and a positive working environment.
The ideal candidate
About the Person You’ll be a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons. You’ll be confident managing the classroom, keen to contribute to a collaborative department, and motivated to support pupil progress. ECT applications are welcome, with excellent induction and mentoring available. The ability to teach an additional subject would be advantageous but is not essential. A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing is essential.
