We are seeking a dedicated Secondary General Cover Teacher to join our team on a supply basis at a well-regarded school in Litcham, Norfolk. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, have a passion for education, and are committed to providing high-quality teaching in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities as a Secondary General Cover Teacher:
- Delivering high-quality cover lessons across a range of subjects to secondary school students.
- Adapting lessons as necessary to ensure student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Managing classroom behavior in a positive and effective manner.
- Supporting students in their learning while maintaining a productive and positive classroom environment.
- Working with staff to ensure smooth transitions between classes and to provide feedback on student progress where necessary.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (or working towards).
- A flexible, adaptable approach to teaching with the ability to cover various subjects.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their potential.
- Previous experience working in a secondary school environment (desirable but not essential).
