Position: Supply Teacher
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Type: Part-time, flexible hours

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, following school curriculum guidelines.
Maintain a positive learning environment, fostering a love for learning and encouraging student participation and progress.
Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the individual needs of students, including those with diverse learning abilities and backgrounds.
Effectively manage classroom behavior and promote a safe and respectful environment conducive to learning.
Collaborate with school staff and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions between regular and supply teaching, maintaining effective communication channels.
Complete required administrative tasks, such as registering attendance, providing feedback on student progress, and leaving detailed notes for the regular teacher.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching in a variety of educational settings and working with diverse student populations.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and an ability to deliver lessons across different subjects and year groups.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to establish a positive rapport with students.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and adjust to varying teaching styles and environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, students, and parents.
Organizational skills to manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to undergo one.
