Are you a highly organised individual with a strong background in SEN support and school administration? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive school looking for a SEN Learning Support Admin Assistant to join their dedicated team immediately.
The Role:
This is a dual-purpose position combining Learning Support Assistant (LSA) duties with SEN administrative responsibilities. You’ll be supporting the daily operational work of the SENCO and wellbeing team, helping to ensure that students with Special Educational Needs receive the best possible care and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for the SENCO, including scheduling meetings, maintaining accurate records, and handling sensitive documentation.
- Support children with SEN in the classroom environment, ensuring tailored assistance to meet individual needs.
- Liaise with staff, external agencies, and parents to coordinate SEN provision effectively.
- Maintain SEN registers, update EHCP files, and support reporting and compliance tasks.
- Assist the wellbeing team with pupil-focused interventions and organisational tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a school setting supporting SEN students (essential).
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality requirements within a school context.
- Proactive, dependable, and compassionate approach to working with children.
