Are you an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant Job Southend Essex (LSA) with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Autism? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LSA to support a child with Autism in a welcoming and inclusive school in Southend.

📍 Location: Southend
📜 Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
The Role:
Providing one-on-one support to a child with Autism, helping them engage with learning in a structured environment.
Implementing individualised support strategies tailored to the child’s needs.
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff to ensure consistent learning progress.
Supporting social and emotional development, creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
Requirements:
✅ Previous experience as an LSA, SEN Teaching Assistant, or Support Worker
☑️ Experience working with children with Autism (ASD) in an educational setting
✅ Strong understanding of Autism-specific strategies and interventions
☑️Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
