We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN LSA Job Chelmsford to join a supportive educational setting. This role involves working closely with a pupil with high needs and supporting groups of pupils and individuals.
Location: Chelmsford
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 5 mornings per week, 08:45 am – 1:00 pm
Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2026
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN LSA Job Chelmsford to join a supportive educational setting. This role involves working closely with a pupil with high needs and supporting groups of pupils and individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one support to a pupil with:
- Severe anxiety
- ADHD
- Delayed self-care skills
- ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
- Dyspraxia
- Academic challenges
- Supporting the pupil in managing sensory difficulties related to food (taste, appearance, smell, and texture).
- Assisting in academic tasks, personal development, and group learning activities.
- Encouraging confidence and independence while ensuring the pupil feels safe and supported as a SEN LSA Job Chelmsford
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with high needs and diverse learning requirements.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with pupils.
- Strong understanding of ADHD, ARFID, dyspraxia, and anxiety-related challenges.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic classroom environments and contribute to group and individual learning.
