We are seeking caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistants who are looking for a flexible work–life balance by joining us as Supply LSAs across both SEN and mainstream schools in Northampton. This role is ideal for individuals who want variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to support students with a wide range of needs. As a supply LSA, you will need to be proactive, adaptable, and ready to step into different classroom environments as required. In many cases, you will receive the day’s assignment on the morning of work, with schools aiming to place you in classes or with students that best match your skills and experience. We always take your preferences into consideration — you choose the days you want to work — giving you full flexibility over your schedule. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across multiple settings, support diverse learners, and maintain a healthy work–life balance while making a real difference in the classroom. The ideal candidate

Experience working or volunteering with children in an educational setting is essential, along with experience supporting children or adults with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural difficulties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, sensitivity, patience, and resilience when responding to the varied needs of learners. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential, as we welcome applicants with the right attitude, commitment, and enthusiasm for supporting young people.
