SEN LSA Jobs Haverhill. Are you a kind, patient, and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a friendly and welcoming school? We’re recruiting on behalf of a warm and inclusive two-form entry primary school in Haverhill, known for its nurturing ethos and fantastic team of support staff.

This full-time role involves working 1:1 with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and emotional regulation difficulties. You’ll play a vital role in supporting their academic, emotional, and social development, helping them to access learning in a way that works for them.

You’ll be working alongside a great team of experienced and caring staff who collaborate closely to provide the best outcomes for every child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN
• Using strategies such as visual timetables, PECS, and consistent routines to create structure and calm
• Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour
• Adapting classroom tasks and materials to suit each pupil’s learning style
• Working in partnership with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals
• Helping to foster independence, confidence, and inclusion

Requirements for LSA:

• Experience supporting children with SEND, including ADHD and ASD
• Calm, patient, and proactive approach to challenging behaviour
• Familiarity with visual aids such as PECS and visual timetables
• Great communicator, able to work collaboratively with staff and families
• Positive and proactive, even in challenging situations
• Available to work Monday to Friday, term-time only
