SEN LSA Jobs Woodbridge. We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Woodbridge. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to make a real difference by providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.

This is a varied and rewarding position, the pupils present with a range of needs, including ADHD, ASD, and emotional regulation difficulties.

You’ll provide academic support, help with emotional wellbeing, and adapt learning materials to suit individual abilities. The use of alternative communication methods such as PECS, visual timetables, and structured routines is central to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils across academic and social activities
• Use appropriate communication strategies to aid understanding and engagement
• Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons
• Promote emotional regulation and resilience through nurturing support
• Support behaviour management using consistent, trauma-informed approaches
• Liaise with the wider SEND and pastoral team as needed

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with SEND, including ADHD and ASD
• Calm, patient, and proactive approach to challenging behaviour
• Familiarity with visual aids such as PECS and visual timetables
• Manual handling training (or willingness to complete it)
• Team player with a positive and empathetic attitude
• Available to work Monday to Friday, term-time only
