SEN Maths Teacher Jobs Basildon. Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join a supportive SEN secondary school in Basildon, starting in November 2024. This full-time role focuses on teaching Key Stage 4 students and helping them develop confidence and competence in mathematics, tailored to their individual needs.

The Role:
- Deliver engaging and accessible Maths lessons to students with a range of SEN, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ensuring differentiation and inclusivity.
- Support students in Key Stage 4 to build their mathematical skills in preparation for exams and life beyond school.
- Collaborate with the SENCO and support staff to adapt teaching methods and materials, creating personalized learning plans that meet the specific needs of each student.
- Create a supportive, nurturing, and structured learning environment that promotes the personal and academic growth of every student.
- Provide regular feedback to students, parents, and staff, tracking progress and identifying areas for additional support.
- Use innovative approaches to teaching maths to ensure that all students, regardless of their needs, can engage with the subject and achieve their potential.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree and teaching qualifications (QTS)
- In-depth knowledge of Maths curriculum.
- A passion for educating and empowering young minds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
