Pay: £125-£199 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher in the Walsall area looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students? We are currently seeking a passionate SEN teacher to join our team on a long-term supply basis, providing valuable support and covering PPA  time for our existing staff. This position will involve working with mixed ability groups of students.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with special educational needs, catering to mixed ability groups.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff
• Assess and track students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and the school
• Effectively manage behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to meet the needs of students

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs, including experience of differentiating instruction and adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of mixed ability groups.
• Excellent knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
• Strong behavior management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, working closely with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school.
