4myschools are looking for a Supply History Teacher to work at schools across Norwich, Norfolk.
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable History Teacher to provide supply cover in secondary schools across Norwich. This is a flexible position suitable for qualified teachers looking for short- or medium-term assignments, including daily supply or longer-term roles as they arise.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging History lessons and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Key Responsibilities for a Supply History Teacher:
- Deliver pre-planned History lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and follow school policies
- Mark and assess work as required, providing constructive feedback
- Support student learning and engagement throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with staff and school leadership
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching History at secondary level
- Excellent classroom management and flexibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, reliable, and professional attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
