Position: Supply Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Halstead, Essex
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £75 – £90 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Supply LSAs to join our team and work with schools in the Halstead area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting students with their learning, including those with additional needs, on a short-term or long-term basis.
As a Supply LSA, you will:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, assisting with their learning and engagement.
- Work closely with teaching staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt to different school settings, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children, ideally within an educational setting.
- A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young people.
- Flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to new environments.
- An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are desirable but not essential.
