Pay: £130 – £200 per day paid to scale

Supply Teacher Stowmarket Suffolk. 4myschools are currently seeking flexible Secondary Supply Teachers in Stowmarket, Suffolk. We are looking for enthusiastic educators who are adaptable and ready to support teaching across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. If you have a passion for teaching and enjoy the variety of working in different classrooms, this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities for Secondary Supply Teacher:
Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects and grade levels, covering for absent teachers.
Follow existing lesson plans or adapt them as needed to ensure effective learning experiences for students.
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Provide support and guidance to students, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Assess and evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students during teacher absences.
Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
Flexibility and willingness to work in different subject areas and grade levels.
Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage students effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Reliable and punctual with a professional work ethic.
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teaching styles.
Valid Enhanced Child workforce DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
