• Working times: full-time (although job share considered for the right candidate)

Job description:

4myschools are recruiting a teacher on behalf of a group of outstanding Special Educational Needs schools in Bury St Edmunds, who offer a supportive and friendly working environment in a spacious, well resourced setting and the chance to make a real and positive impact on the lives of their students. The schools cater for 4-19 year olds with a range of SEND and provides high quality teaching, social care and health care facilities.

They are looking for a qualified teacher to join their team to provide exceptional learning activities adapted to meet the needs of the students and work closely with teaching and learning assistants, and other professionals for ‘whole child’ development. The position is to start from September 2025 is ideally to work full-time, however a job-share could be considered.

Requirements for Teacher – Bury St Edmunds – Suffolk:

To be successfully appointed for this role you will need to have:

• QTS
• Previous experience of supporting individuals with SEND
• Observational skills
• Knowledge of a range of strategies to adapt learning activities, manage behaviours and expectations, and rapport building
• A versatile approach to teaching
• Have an Enhanced, Child workforce, Disclosure.
