We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Food & Nutrition to join our team at a secondary school in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to inspire students and contribute to the development of our Food & Nutrition curriculum.

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Probationary Period for the First 6 Months)

Key Responsibilities for a Teacher of Food and Nutrition:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Food & Nutrition lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Develop students’ knowledge of food science, nutrition, and healthy eating habits
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress, helping them to reach their potential
- Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities related to food and nutrition
- Collaborate with colleagues in the department to ensure the successful delivery of the curriculum
- Maintain a high standard of classroom management and promote positive student behaviour
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A passion for food, nutrition, and teaching
- Strong subject knowledge of Food & Nutrition
- Experience teaching Food & Nutrition at the secondary school level (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to student welfare
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
