Key Responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant:
- Provide support to teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
- Assist students with their learning, ensuring they are engaged and progressing
- Help create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN) as required
- Help with classroom management and provide pastoral care
- Support the development of students’ academic and social skills
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable
- A passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a proactive attitude
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential
- Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with the process if needed)
