We are currently recruiting for an LSA (learning Support Assistant) for a school in Southend. The role would need an understanding, patient, and motivated individual, who would be required to support various students. The role would involve some 1-1 support for students who may need tailored support or working with children that have mild to severe special educational needs, whether its physical disabilities, behavioural issues or being unable to focus during class. The LSA would need to be at hand to help support the students that may need extra help, reading, understanding the curriculum and studying. The hours would be Monday to Friday 8:30 start until 4pm, we are also offering full time and part time job roles. You will need the following:
- A level 2 in Maths and English
- DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Experience of working with children or adults with SEND

We pay fairly and transparently, and wherever possible will pay to scale ensuring that we meet Agency Worker Regulations after 12 weeks with a school. You are paid weekly in arrears, receiving an online payslip with a weekly pay showing your HMRC deductions and holiday pay breakdown.
