The Role:
- As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students both one to one and in small groups, both academically and emotionally.
- With your background in Social Care as a Care Assistant, Children’s Support Worker, Community carer, Special Needs Passenger Assistant, Mentor or Nursery Nurse you will have the transferable skills and relatable experience that will contribute to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for all students.
- You will have the opportunity to expand your experience allowing you to work in either Mainstream or Special Needs Schools
- You will be able to learn on the job whilst still having access to accredited CPD to support you in your day-to-day role.

Requirements:
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners or children with special needs
- Previous experience in social care or a relatable field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing nature
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
- Willingness to retrain.
