We are proud to be working in partnership with a small, friendly village primary school in the Upminster area to recruit a full-time Upper KS2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2025.

🎓 About the Role:
As the Upper KS2 Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for a mixed-ability class of eager learners in either Year 5 or Year 6 (year group to be confirmed). You’ll be expected to:
Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
Use formative and summative assessment effectively to track progress and support pupil outcomes.
Maintain a warm, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and SLT.
Participate in school life, including planning days, staff meetings, and occasional after-school events.
This role is perfect for a teacher who enjoys autonomy in the classroom but thrives within a team that shares ideas, supports one another, and is committed to professional growth.
✅ The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Years 5 or 6.
Demonstrates excellent curriculum knowledge and classroom management.
Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
Can confidently hit the ground running from September 2025.
ECTs with strong placement experience in Upper KS2 are also welcome to apply.
