New opportunity! Year 1 Teacher – Colchester

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Colchester who are seeking a strong and confident Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a long‑term supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a lively and engaging KS1 class, supporting pupils through their final term of primary school with a focus on writing moderation, foundation subjects and end‑of‑year activities. The school prides itself on being highly supportive of staff, offering a thorough induction and ensuring colleagues across the school are always available to help. There is also the opportunity for a trial day prior to the long‑term booking, allowing both the teacher and school to ensure a great fit.

• Contract Type: Short Term, Supply – Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
• Age groups: Year 1

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
