4myschools are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to work at a primary school in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
Are you a passionate and creative educator looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school team in Hertford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to support the learning journey of our youngest pupils. This position is available for an immediate start after Easter 2025 and will be for a minimum of one term, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities for a Year 1 Teacher
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 1 students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular learning opportunities.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child’s progress.
- Support the social and emotional development of children through both structured activities and free play.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 1.
- A passion for working with young children and fostering a love of learning.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
