🌟 Part-Time 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant – Year 3 | Maldon | Immediate Start 🌟
Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with SEND? We’re working on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Maldon to find a compassionate 1:1 SEND TA to support a Year 3 pupil on a part-time, fixed-term contract.
📍 Role Details:
Position: 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (Year 3)
Location: Maldon, Essex
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Fixed Term
Schedule:
Monday: 08:30am – 1:15pm
Tuesday – Friday: 08:45am – 1:15pm
🧩 About the Role:
You’ll be working closely with a pupil in Year 3 who requires additional support with their learning and emotional regulation. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing approach, a strong understanding of SEND, and the ability to build trusting relationships to help the child access the curriculum and thrive in a classroom environment.
✅ Requirements:
Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a 1:1 SEND capacity
A calm, patient and empathetic attitude
Relevant qualifications or training in supporting children with SEND (desirable)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
