Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover – 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday)

We are working with a well-regarded primary school on the outskirts of Chelmsford that is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their team for a maternity cover position, starting in September.

The Role:
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners
Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create a positive learning experience
Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential
Maintain a well-structured and stimulating classroom environment
Take part in staff meetings, training, and school activities to contribute to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment
A commitment to inclusive education, ensuring that all students can thrive
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning
