We are looking for adaptable and enthusiastic KS1 & KS2 Supply Teachers to support local primary schools with day-to-day, short-term and long-term cover requirements. About the School You will work across a range of primary schools throughout Bury St Edmunds and nearby communities. These schools provide supportive learning environments where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Opportunities are available across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, offering variety and valuable classroom experience. About the Role As a KS1 & KS2 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, maintain effective classroom management, and ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will have the opportunity to work with different year groups while supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. Key responsibilities include: Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 classes. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Managing classroom behaviour effectively. Following school policies and safeguarding procedures. Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress. Building positive relationships with pupils and school teams.

• Contract type: PART_TIME, FULL_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

The ideal candidate should be committed  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

Ideal Candidate We are looking for teachers who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching within UK primary schools. Are confident teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills. Can adapt quickly to different school environments. Are committed to supporting children’s academic and personal development.
