This is a Primary School job.
We have a role at a primary school in central Chelmsford that is looking for a part-time Reception teacher to cover a maternity contract. This would be for 3 days per week – days to be confirmed. This is a welcoming and supportive school with excellent feedback from teachers. This could potentially extend to 2026-2027 academic year or lead to a permanent position. You will be responsible for full teaching duties, including planning, marking, assessments and attendance at parent’s evenings if this falls on your working day.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and completed their ECT years with experience in reception class..
