New opening! SEN Supply Teacher – Thetford
Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for flexibility, variety and rewarding opportunities across Norfolk? 4myschools is seeking passionate and adaptable SEN Teachers to provide daily supply cover within a range of educational settings across Norfolk. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in mainstream primary and secondary schools with Specialist Resource Bases (SRBs) and Specialist Hubs (SHIP provisions), as well as dedicated specialist SEN schools. For those seeking even greater variety, there is also the option to undertake mainstream supply teaching assignments alongside SEN-focused placements. As a Supply SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning for pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, moderate and severe learning difficulties, speech and language needs, sensory processing difficulties, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and complex communication difficulties. You will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, adapt learning materials to meet individual needs, manage classroom behaviour positively, and create a supportive environment where every pupil can achieve success. Depending on the setting, you may teach whole classes, work with smaller nurture groups, or support pupils within specialist provisions attached to mainstream schools. One of the most rewarding aspects of this role is the opportunity to experience a variety of educational environments. Working across SRBs, SHIPs and specialist schools allows SEN professionals to develop their skillset, gain exposure to different approaches and interventions, and broaden their understanding of specialist education. You will work alongside experienced SEND teams, Learning Support Assistants, SENCOs and therapeutic professionals, developing valuable professional relationships whilst making a meaningful difference to pupils’ lives. Supply teaching provides flexibility that permanent roles often cannot offer. Whether you are looking to work every day, reduce your workload, return to teaching after a career break, or explore different schools before committing to a permanent position, supply offers the freedom to choose assignments that suit your lifestyle. Benefits include: ✅ Flexible working to fit around your commitments ✅ Opportunities in both mainstream and specialist settings ✅ Exposure to a variety of teaching approaches and SEND provisions ✅ Ability to broaden SEN experience across multiple needs and age groups ✅ Excellent work-life balance with no long-term planning requirements on daily supply bookings ✅ Potential pathways into long-term and permanent positions ✅ Build a strong network within local Norfolk schools
- Contract duration: Supply Teacher
- Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 08:30-3.:30
