Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting young people with complex needs? 4myschools is working in partnership with an SEND school on the borders of East Hertfordshire and West Essex, to recruit an experienced and dedicated Sixth Form Teacher to join their specialist education team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to students aged 16–19 with a range of complex needs, including SEND and medical conditions. You will foster independence and life skills alongside academic progress, preparing learners for adulthood, while working collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families to create a holistic learning environment. Additionally, you will contribute to curriculum development and implement innovative teaching strategies that meet individual EHCP targets.

The ideal candidate
About You Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience working with students with complex needs, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting. Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and communication strategies. Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive education.
