4myschools is seeking adaptable and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistants for flexible supply work starting ASAP within a specialist SEND Hub based in a mainstream primary school in the Frinton‑on‑Sea area. This provision supports a very small cohort, allowing staff to form meaningful connections while delivering highly personalised support to pupils with EHCPs and additional learning, communication and emotional needs. Supply staff in this setting play a vital role in maintaining consistency and emotional safety for pupils. You may support children 1:1, lead small intervention groups, assist with regulation strategies, or accompany pupils into mainstream lessons where appropriate. The hub follows a structured, trauma‑informed approach where behaviour is understood as communication, and staff are supported to respond calmly and positively at all times.

• Contract Type: Part Time – Hours: 08:30-3:30
• Age groups: Primary School

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

his opportunity is ideal for SEND LSAs, support workers or care professionals who want flexibility while continuing to work within high‑quality SEND provision. Previous experience with SEND is essential, particularly autism or SEMH, and you should feel confident stepping into an established routine and following personalised support plans. Availability for short‑notice bookings, a calm and professional manner, and the ability to travel to the Frinton‑on‑Sea area are key requirements.
