We are seeking enthusiastic KS2 Supply Teachers to support a range of welcoming primary schools in Newmarket and the surrounding areas. As a supply teacher, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of education while supporting pupils across Years 3 to 6. The Role As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, follow school planning where provided, and ensure pupils remain motivated and focused throughout the day. You will be responsible for maintaining positive classroom routines, supporting learning objectives, and adapting to different school environments. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy the flexibility of supply work whilst continuing to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ education. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching across KS2 classes. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Support pupils’ academic and personal development. Adapt quickly to different classrooms and school settings. Provide feedback to school staff following lessons covered.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a confident and reliable teacher who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues. You will have strong classroom management skills, a flexible approach, and a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum. Requirements for this role

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
