About the School You will be working across a range of secondary schools in Ipswich and the surrounding areas. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in different settings and build valuable relationships with local schools. About the Role As a Maths Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences. You will maintain high expectations in the classroom and adapt to different school environments with confidence. Key responsibilities include: Delivering pre-planned Maths lessons. Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and engagement. Supporting pupils to achieve their learning objectives. Following school policies and safeguarding procedures. Providing feedback on pupil progress where required. Promoting a positive attitude towards Mathematics.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and confident working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for teachers who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Have experience teaching Mathematics within UK secondary schools. Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills. Are adaptable, organised, and able to quickly build rapport with students. Have a passion for helping young people develop confidence in Maths.
