This is a Secondary School job.
We are seeking a confident and mature individual to join one of our client schools as a Part-Time Cover Supervisor, with opportunities to take on additional work either within the same school or across other schools on an as-needed basis. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that lessons run smoothly, students remain engaged, and behaviour is managed appropriately. You may cover a variety of subjects and lessons or work within a single department, depending on the school’s needs.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience leading groups of students or be willing to gain experience through voluntary shadowing to ensure you are fully prepared to take on lessons independently. This is a varied and rewarding role that offers the chance to work closely with students while gaining valuable classroom experience. Graduates in specific subjects are encouraged to apply, as are individuals looking to gain hands-on teaching experience before embarking on a teaching career. Applicants should be professional, organised, and capable of maintaining a calm and authoritative presence in the classroom, with strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting students’ learning and wellbeing. This role offers flexible, part-time hours and the chance to make a real difference in the classroom while developing your skills and experience in education..
