We are seeking an enthusiastic DT Supply Teacher to support local schools with day-to-day cover, short-term assignments, and potential long-term placements. About the Schools You will be working with a variety of well-supported secondary schools that value hands-on learning, creativity, and developing practical skills. These schools encourage students to think innovatively and apply their knowledge through engaging projects and real-world problem-solving. Supply teachers are highly valued in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting student progress across the curriculum. The Role As a DT Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Design Technology disciplines, following existing lesson plans where provided. You will support students in developing practical skills, creativity, and technical understanding while maintaining a safe and productive learning environment. For longer-term placements, there may be opportunities to plan lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to departmental activities.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

The ideal candidate should be committed  and capable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a flexible and reliable teacher who can quickly adapt to different school settings and build positive relationships with students and staff. You will be passionate about Design Technology and confident in delivering practical and theory-based lessons.
