Current opening! KS2 Supply Class Teacher – North Walsham
Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher looking for a teaching role that offers flexibility, variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in local schools? We are currently seeking adaptable Primary Supply Class Teachers to support a wide range of primary schools throughout North Walsham, Mundesley, Stalham, Worstead, Coltishall, Happisburgh, Bacton and the surrounding North Norfolk communities. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy working with different year groups, embracing new challenges and becoming a valued part of a variety of school communities. Whether your experience is rooted in EYFS, Key Stage 1, Lower Key Stage 2 or Upper Key Stage 2, we have a range of opportunities available to suit your skills, career ambitions and availability. The schools we work with across the North Walsham area are as diverse as the communities they serve. From small village primaries where every child is known by name to larger, thriving schools at the heart of their local communities, each setting offers its own unique experience. As a result, supply teaching provides the chance to continually develop your practice while supporting pupils in a variety of engaging educational environments. As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be stepping into classrooms where your knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm can have an immediate impact. You will help maintain continuity of learning, support pupil progress and create positive classroom experiences whenever schools require additional teaching support. No two assignments are the same, offering a rewarding and varied career path for teachers who enjoy diversity in their work. We have opportunities available throughout the academic year, including daily supply cover, advance bookings, short-term assignments and long-term placements. Whether you are seeking a full-time schedule, part-time flexibility or occasional teaching days around personal commitments, we can provide opportunities that fit your lifestyle. Schools are looking for teachers who can confidently engage pupils, establish positive learning environments and quickly adapt to different classroom settings. You will be responsible for delivering lessons, maintaining high standards of behaviour and ensuring children remain motivated and focused on their learning. Your ability to build positive relationships and encourage pupils to achieve their best will be highly valued by both schools and students alike. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy making a difference without being tied to a single setting. It offers the opportunity to experience different school cultures, broaden your teaching experience and gain valuable insights into a range of curriculum approaches and leadership styles. Many teachers find supply work to be one of the most rewarding ways to develop professionally while retaining control over their work-life balance. Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking greater flexibility, an Early Career Teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience, or a teacher returning to education after a break, this role provides an excellent platform to continue growing your skills and confidence. Working across multiple schools can also open doors to future long-term and permanent opportunities through the relationships you establish with local school leaders. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about inspiring young learners and creating classrooms where every child feels supported, challenged and encouraged to succeed. A positive attitude, strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering engaging learning experiences will help you thrive in this role. In return, you will benefit from competitive rates of pay, flexible working opportunities, access to a large network of local primary schools and the support of a dedicated education consultant with extensive knowledge of the North Norfolk education sector. We work hard to understand your preferences and ambitions, ensuring you are matched with opportunities that suit your individual needs. Supply teaching offers far more than the chance to cover classes. It provides the opportunity to share your expertise, support local schools and contribute positively to children’s educational journeys. Every classroom presents a fresh opportunity to inspire, motivate and leave a lasting impression on young learners across the North Walsham area. If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and are looking for rewarding teaching opportunities across North Walsham and the surrounding villages, we would love to hear from you. Whether you are available for daily supply work, regular weekly bookings or longer-term assignments, a variety of opportunities are waiting for you.
