Immediate opportunity! Long Term Supply Teacher KS1 – Brentwood

This role involves working across a range of primary schools in the Brentwood area, supporting Key Stage 1 pupils within welcoming and well-structured environments. The schools maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere, with clear routines in place to support both staff and pupils. Supply staff play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning, stepping into classrooms to deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain consistency throughout the school day. You will be working within supportive teams where guidance and expectations are clearly communicated.

• Contract type: TEMPORARY – Hours: 08:15-3:15pm
• Age groups: Primary School

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will bring a flexible and positive approach to teaching, with the ability to settle quickly into different classroom environments. You will be confident delivering lessons to younger pupils and maintaining clear expectations around behaviour and engagement. Strong communication skills are important, as you will be working with a variety of school teams and adapting to different settings.

Essential requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. 
Recent experience teaching within a primary setting is preferred. 
Confidence covering both Year 1 and Year 2 classes is advantageous.
