4myschools is delighted to be supporting an exciting brand‑new nursery opening in September 2026, offering a warm, nurturing early years environment for up to 30 children across two classes (ages 2–3 and 3–4). This welcoming setting is designed to support children’s personal, social and emotional development through play‑based learning, strong routines and positive relationships. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality early years practice, supporting children’s learning in line with the EYFS, observing and recording progress, and working collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment. You will support children’s independence, promote communication and language development, and ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met at all times.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification and Paediatric First Aid, with previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. You will be available for full time hours, working term time only, in line with school hours (8:30am-3:30pm). A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach is essential, alongside a good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework. Due to the location of the setting, reliable transport or the ability to travel independently is required. This is a permanent opportunity starting September 2026.
