The successful Level 3 Nursery Practitioner will join a dedicated team committed to creating engaging learning experiences where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to reach their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to make a real difference within a friendly and inclusive setting that promotes learning through play, exploration and positive relationships. As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework. Your responsibilities will include planning and providing stimulating activities that support children’s learning and development, observing and assessing progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a safe, caring and inclusive environment. You will build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues, support children’s social, emotional and educational needs, encourage independence and confidence, and work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained at all times. You may also support children with additional needs and help to implement individual learning plans where required.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification and possess previous experience working within a nursery, preschool or early years setting. Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent). A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding procedures and child development is essential. We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic and caring professional who can build strong relationships with young children and support their individual learning journeys. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required, alongside the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Due to the location of many early years settings, access to reliable transport is highly desirable. Candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, term time only and be committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.
