A friendly trust of schools in Braintree is seeking a flexible and adaptable teacher to provide regular PPA cover across multiple year groups. These schools work closely with 4myschools and have an excellent reputation for their warm, welcoming atmosphere, well-behaved children, and strong SEND support provisions. This role offers the chance to build ongoing relationships with both staff and pupils, giving you the benefits of supply work with the camaraderie of being part of a school community. All planning is provided, but you will need to be confident moving between year groups – for example, teaching Year 1 in the morning and Year 5 in the afternoon – while maintaining a positive presence that engages children right from the start.

They will have strong classroom management skills and the ability to make a positive first impression so that pupils are engaged from the outset. Good communication, a professional approach, and a willingness to work collaboratively with staff are essential.
