We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher to support secondary schools with day-to-day supply cover, short-term assignments, and potential long-term opportunities. These schools value engaging teaching, strong classroom relationships, and encouraging students to develop confidence in Science. Whether you are providing daily cover or taking on a longer-term position, you will become an important part of the school community. The Role As a Science Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, following school planning where provided. You will support students’ understanding of scientific concepts, maintain a productive learning environment, and adapt quickly to different school settings. Longer-term placements may include planning lessons, marking work, and contributing to departmental activities.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a teacher who is confident, organised, and passionate about Science education. You will be able to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff, inspire curiosity in the classroom, and maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
