4myschools are recruiting for SEN Learning Support Staff to work within a welcoming primary school in Ware. The school is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and receive the support they need to succeed. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and the SEND team to support children with a range of additional needs, both within the classroom and through targeted interventions. You may provide one-to-one support or work with small groups, helping pupils to access learning, develop social skills, build confidence and make positive progress throughout their education. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will be patient, caring and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs. Previous experience working within a primary school, SEND setting, childcare environment or support role would be beneficial but is not essential. You will be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, demonstrate strong communication skills and adapt your approach to meet individual needs. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a commitment to helping children overcome barriers to learning are essential. Most importantly, you will be dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
